Sports Value has conducted an exclusive analysis on the Brazilian Clubs Players Transfers Over the Last two Decades.
The study examined transfer revenues over the past 21 years (2003 to 2023), with all figures adjusted for inflation.

The analysis highlights that clubs that have invested early in professional training structures and talent scouting have been the most efficient in generating revenue through transfers.

Brazilian Clubs Moved US$ 6.6 Billion in Transfers Over the Last Two Decades
Between 2003 and 2023, Brazil’s top football clubs generated a total of US$ 6.6 billion from players transfers, averaging US$ 314 million per year.
In the last six years alone, Brazilian clubs earned US$ 1.9 billion from transfers, with the annual average increasing to US$ 317 million per year

In 2023, the TOP 20 clubs reached US$ 396 million in players transfers.
São Paulo Leads the Last Two Decades with US$ 903 million, Internacional follows with US$ 864 million
Among the top clubs in dollars, São Paulo leads with US$ 903 million in transfer revenue, followed by Internacional with US$ 864 million, Corinthians with US$ 715 million, and Santos with US$ 589 million.

Flamengo Leads in the Last Six Years, Followed by Palmeiras
When analyzing a more recent period (the last six years), Flamengo ranks first in transfer revenue with US$ 315 million, followed by Palmeiras with US$ 230 million and São Paulo with US$ 217 million
The acceleration in Flamengo and Palmeiras’ earnings is attributed to greater investment in youth academy infrastructure.

Many clubs did not retain a significant portion of these earnings, as a share of the transfer rights was allocated to investors, agents, or intermediaries.
