MLS X Brazilian Serie A ,USA are coming
Sports Value’s new survey compares the financial reality of MLS against the teams that participate in the Brazilian Serie A.
The analysis shows that MLS, born after the 1994 World Cup in the United States, has been developing very rapidly in recent years and may become the largest market outside Europe, whose current position is in Brazil.
According to data published by Forbes the current 24 MLS teams jointly US$ 778 million in revenues in 2017.

In May 2018 Sports Value published its study on the finances of Brazilian clubs. The 20 Serie A teams in 2017 generated more than R$ 5 billion, historical value for our market.
Discounted values with player transfers (non-existent in the US), the consolidate revenue of the 20 teams was R$ 4 billion, or US$ 1.1 billion. Brazil is the biggest market after the big leagues in Europe.
MLS can surpass the Series A thanks to its long-term management, the arrival of more teams and the high potential with FIFA World Cup in 2026.
